Staff
CTW has a regular stream of guest speakers throughout the year, but the bulk of our training will be done by Pastor Steve Shank and our staff instructors.
They will teach you how to pray, preach, teach, disciple, hear from the Lord, flow in the gifts of the Spirit, heal the sick, cast out devils, witness, start a new ministry, and much more. Again, we will emphasize learning that you may practice as a lifestyle the Word you have heard.
Pastor Steve Shank
Pastor Steve is the Founder of Confirming the Word Bible College. He has spent most of his adult life training and equipping believers in Bible schools and churches around the world. Pastor Steve also founded City on the Hill Ministries Inc in 1979. After starting the local church in Boulder, Colorado he helped launch a Bible Training Center in Kingston, Jamaica in 1987. Pastor Steve has led over seventy missions trips into many nations of the world. He has seen Jesus heal the blind, deaf, dumb, and a multitude of diseases in response to the prayer of faith.
Larry Fansler
Larry has a B.A. degree and teaching certificate from a 4 year college and later attended Rhema Bible Training Center for 2 years. He has taught in public schools, a junior college and teaches the Foundations Class and the Prayer Classes at City on the Hill Church. His heart’s desire is to TEACH the WORD to God’s children, see people come to know who they are in Christ Jesus, and grow in their knowledge of the character of our Father God. He recently taught a series on “The Redemptive Names of God” to the staff of Living Free Ministries.
Micah Hayden
Micah has a heart to train and develop leaders who are called to serve the Lord through missions and/or full-time ministry. Her passion is to develop and equip leaders so that they live lives full of character and integrity with a heart to love the Lord and others. Micah grew up at City on the Hill Church and has served in many areas of ministry. Her academic training includes a B.A. in Theology from Vision Christian Bible College and a B.A. in Spanish from the University of Colorado. She also studied Intercultural Studies/Leadership at Fuller Theological Seminary. Micah loves to travel and has a heart for missions; she has lived abroad and has participated in and led many missions trips. She is married to an Englishman named Mark, and they are expecting a little boy.
Pastor Jimmy Ratzlaff
Pastor Jimmy is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center. He has been a full time Pastor for 13 years and has 25 years experience in training children in the Word of God. He is the head of the healing room at City on the Hill Ministries and has been across the world on mission trips proclaiming the gospel of Jesus.
